Microcosm

A “microcosm” refers to a small-scale representation, version, or embodiment of something much larger or more complex. It is a miniature or condensed version of a larger whole, often exhibiting similar characteristics, patterns, or dynamics. In a microcosm, the essential features or elements of a larger system or entity are encapsulated within a smaller, more manageable context, allowing for observation, analysis, or exploration on a more accessible scale. Microcosms can be found in various contexts, including scientific experiments, social phenomena, artistic representations, and symbolic representations of larger concepts or ideas.
