It provides a multidimensional navigational framework for representing the System of Interest’s relevant Position, Current State, movement, Dynamic Mechanics, Forces, Desired Results, Displacement, and developing Trajectory across time.
Astronomical Plotting may integrate information from the X, Y, and Z Axes, 147 Zones, 8 Octants, life-cycle Position and Epochs, Sources and Resources, Gateway conditions, and other relevant Factors and Derived Dynamics to help the Systems Engineer investigate where the SOI is, where it has been, where it appears to be heading, and how its Position is changing within the larger system.
It is distinct from XSE Dynamic Mechanics:
Dynamic Mechanics describes how the SOI is operating and changing; Astronomical Plotting represents where that operation places the SOI within the larger XSE navigational architecture.
