XSE Pilot Systems Engineer
The Pilot Systems Engineer is the third and highest Advancing Position within XSE, paired with XSE’s 3rd advancing asset: the XSE Vantage Point. A Pilot has mastered XSE’s 2FA—the 20 Actual and 20 Analytical Factors—along with the Derived Dynamics and Dynamic Mechanics, and can integrate and apply the complete XESAS Synthesis.
From the XSE Vantage Point, the Pilot seeks an astronomical view of the System of Interest, analyzing its Factors, relationships, Sources and Resources, Inputs and Outputs, feedback, Current Reality, life-cycle position, Trajectory, and relevant Fourth-Dimension considerations.
Like an aircraft pilot, the Pilot Systems Engineer does not control every condition encountered. Instead, they use awareness, critical and creative thinking, reliable information, feedback, optimal choices, adaptability, and integrity to continually evaluate conditions and adjust course.
The Pilot Systems Engineer does not seek to control reality, but to understand it well enough to navigate complex systems intelligently, adaptively, and with integrity.
