Within XSE, the 8 Octants are classified as a Derived Dynamic. The dynamics are “derived” because they are not treated as isolated variables, but as emergent behaviors and trajectories produced by interacting systems over time.

The 8 Octants of XSE are derived from the intersection of the X, Y, and Z Axes of the XSE Axiomatic System, forming eight multidimensional coordinate regions used to evaluate relative system position and orientation.
